Happy Mail!

TGIF!  Thank goodness it’s almost the weekend!  I could use a nice relaxing one!  Last weekend I took 14 kids and 6 other Scout Leaders to camp and we had a blast.  Camp is always fun but exhausting!!

So a few weeks back I received a lovely card from my friend Susan in Aussie land.  It was simply a card to say “Hey Friend…” and it totally made my day.  I have been meaning to send a very similar card right back to her and so that task fits in perfectly with our newest Power Poppy “Power & Spark Challenge” for June…
For further challenge details, please click here.  You do not need Power Poppy images to play along to win!!!

So here’s my card going to my friend Susan featuring the “Sunny Harvest” stamp set…
Derwent Inktense Pencils: 0240, 0300, 0400, 0610, 1200,1530, 1600, 1700

I just love the subtle shimmer on all the Chinese Lanterns…

I hope you’ll join me in sending out some happy mail today!  You know... just because!

Before I go, make sure you check out all of my fellow Bloom Brigaders and their blogs today…

Sweet Ally, what a gorgeous card, and I love these Chinese lanterns too! Love your great sketch and how the lanterns sparkle so. And what a great idea to use the image for the background too. Beautifully done, and I know Susan will love it! Big hugs, sweet friend, and I'm praying for your finger to heal quickly and well!

Absolutely beautiful coloring of this favorite image, Ally, and the shimmer on the lanterns in both the foreground and background looks fabulous! Gee, it must be fall in Aussie land, right? You're a busy gal, but the scout trip does sound fun. Just so much time and effort getting ready for anything like that. Whew! I'm exhausted just thinking about it! Have a good weekend!
